Privacy policy.
How we collect, use and look after your personal information, in plain terms.
Last updated 7 October 2026
Who we are
Autimate is run by Owen Harker and Jackson Gray, trading as Autimate, based in the North East of England. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in it at sales@autimate.co.uk.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, company name, email address, phone number (optional), your industry, the offer you are interested in, and anything you write in your message.
- When you book a call: the details you enter into our booking page, such as your name, email address and chosen time.
- If you become a client: the business information we need to deliver the work you have asked for, and the details needed to invoice you.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call. We do this because you asked us to, and because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to people who contact us.
- To deliver the services you have agreed to buy from us, as part of our contract with you.
- To keep financial and tax records, because the law requires us to.
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you ask us to. We never sell your information.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with trusted services that help us run the business, such as our email provider, website host, booking tool (Calendly) and accounting software. They may only use it to provide their service to us. Some of these services may store information outside the UK; where they do, they use recognised safeguards to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for as long as we work together, and afterwards only as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes (usually up to six years).
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where needed. Our booking link opens Calendly’s own website, which has its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or object to us using it. You can also ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email sales@autimate.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
